Ed Parsons

Independent Financial Adviser

Professionally

Ed’s entire career has been within financial services, beginning in retail banking and evolving into a passion for direct client contact and problem-solving. Becoming a financial adviser at 21, he honed his skills across various firms, now excelling as an Independent Financial Adviser.

Ed’s focus is on achieving client goals, including retirement and major event planning. Over the years, he has learned that effective client work involves education and goal-setting, emphasising collaboration and regular reviews to keep plans firmly on track. His advice centres on long-term investment, retirement planning, and tax efficiency.

Personally

A lifelong rugby enthusiast, Ed played and coached the sport for years and now enjoys following the fortunes of the Bristol Bears from Ashton Gate. He has passed this passion onto his three boys, who all share his love of the game.

Ed is a keen foodie who enjoys cooking and socialising – often accompanied by a good glass of wine! Music also holds a special place in his life, as he’s a keen guitarist.

Ed lives in Bristol with his partner Mandy and their two cats. Away from work, they enjoy cycling, walking, and travelling, appreciating their Bristol home’s easy access to both city life and rural landscapes.
